Hooray! Guests on our trip today got to check off both boxes on their whale list – toothed whales AND a baleen whale! Nearly an hour into the trip we spotted a minke whale near a large school of bait fish. He was too fast to capture any photos, but our guests did get several looks at him as he surfaced. We then came across a pod of roughly 200 common dolphins feeding on a large school of anchovies. Good to see all those fish out there – means lots of food for our local marine mammals!
