We enjoyed another day full of clear skies and a flat ocean! We were a little worried this morning, as we were welcomed outside of the jetties by a thick fog bank. To our surprise, the fog opened up to reveal some impeccable visibility. Up north, we found a small handful of sluggish Common Dolphins. They didn’t seem too interested in us so we moved along in search of something else. When we were relatively close to home, we spotted a larger pod that was much more surface active! Double digits raced toward our bow to get a spot to surf in our pressure wave! It was a delight to see so many dolphins swimming beside us at one time. The great conditions we experienced in the morning carried into our afternoon trip. On both trips, we retrieved balloons that were easily spotted on the surface. We will be back on the water on Thursday and we hope to see a full boat of whale watchers! -Dani
