We were rockin’ and rollin’ through pod after pod of Common Dolphins today! Although we were suspicious of the potential conditions this morning, our bumpy exit from the jetties eventually turned into a beautiful, smooth ride. Our first cetacean sighting included an elusive handful of Common Dolphins that paid little mind to the boat. Luckily, after splitting off and traveling up the coast, we found a condensed pod of ~400 Common Dolphins! We were thrilled to find a much more exciting group, full of eager bow-riders! In addition to toothed whales, we spotted a HUGE Mola Mola (Ocean Sunfish) on our way home! We will be back on the water this Thursday and we expect B-E-A-U-TIFUL conditions. See you out there, whale watchers!
