Awesome conditions today out on the open ocean! We saw another fin whale today at about 9 miles offshore. It decided to give us some pretty close looks! We also saw inshore bottlenose dolphins in the jetty, and about 100 common dolphins…amazing day!

Hooray! The storm has passed and the seas are calm again! We did see a very young humpback whale today, likely just one year old, that surfaced near the boat, but unfortunately despite waiting around for quite a while for the whale to resurface, it never reappeared....
