We had a Super Saturday on the Privateer today! During the morning cruise, we encountered a pair of Northbound Gray whales that were traveling in the Kelp forest. We got great looks at the couple which was a cow/calf pair! We continued out West and found ourselves a pod of ~150 Common dolphin! They were pretty energetic and active traveling South toward Mexico!
During the afternoon cruise, we traveled pretty far up and down the coast line and out West and had no luck in finding whales and dolphins. BUT as we made our way in, we encountered another cow/calf pair of Gray whales! Quick looks but still special!
We are at the very end of our Gray whale season, so we hope you’ll join us very soon before they all head back up North to Alaska. We have plenty of open spots on both trips tomorrow so BOOK now!
