The ocean was a little rocky this morning but as time went on, it resulted in beautiful conditions. On our morning trip, right out of the channel, we spotted a small pod of Inshore Bottlenose dolphins! As we headed further west, we encountered several smaller pods of short-beaked and long-beaked Common dolphins. Most were in hunting mode so our guest got to see plenty of foraging action!
On the afternoon, we found more Common dolphins and then suddenly surprised by a pod of Offshore Bottlenose dolphins! We only encounter this species a few times a year so it was definitely a real treat to find. Our guest were excited to see these beautiful, wild & free majestic creatures.
