Boy, do we love the summer weather offshore! Although it may be cloudier than usual lately, this summer has treated us to some fabulous sea conditions. On our morning whale watch, we never once lost sight of Common Dolphins! We passed through countless pods until counting ~300 individuals in total! Throughout the entire trip, we could look ahead of us in any direction to spot additional pods of Common Dolphins. Fortunately for us, the dolphins were very interactive today and would divert from their original course-line to surf along with us!
We relocated “Twitch” the juvenile Humpback Whale this afternoon, in addition to ~50 Common Dolphins that were spotted around the same vicinity. The Humpback Whale was in a fairly mellow state today but didn’t mind making quick, close passes beside the boat! We are incredibly light on reservations tomorrow so we encourage anyone that may be looking for a fun activity to join us on the water! Until then, whale watchers.
