What a wonderful trip we had this morning on the Privateer! The sea was hungry, dear friends! We saw feeding frenzy, after feeding frenzy, AFTER FEEDING FRENZY! Many different species of marine birds and Common dolphins were in full force to get their breakfast! We first came across a small pod of Commons, to later encounter a bigger pod of long beaked Common dolphins! We estimated about ~200 of these beauties circling our vessel as they gorged on bate fish. Soon after, we found another huge pod of short beaked Common dolphins! Once again in a feeding frenzy with lots of California brown pelicans.in the mix. It was an adventurous day on the Privateer!
