All of the wildlife of the day showed up on our morning trip. For some reason, everything was swiftly moving steadily to the north, but we were lucky enough to catch the tail-end of a pod of dolphins before they cleared the San Diego area. We counted ~600-700 Common Dolphins in one single pod that was densely packed together and spread across a mile of ocean. We couldn’t help but post a picture of one of the itty bitty calves that were seen swimming along with their mothers! Although it was quieter this afternoon, we still enjoyed a beautiful day of perfect conditions. See you on the next trip, whale watchers!
