The wildlife was plentiful today and rid us of any possible Monday blues! We spotted 1 Humpback Whale, 1 Bryde’s Whale (90% positive species ID) and up to ~600 Long-Beaked Common Dolphins with a sprinkling of ~100 Short-Beaked Common Dolphins! It was an incredible trip, filled with feeding frenzies in-between short bursts of zig-zagging through countless balls of bait. While on the wildlife, there wasn’t a second spent without being surrounded by marine mammals. Our passengers were also able to spot a few California Sea Lions in the mix throughout our observations. Just as we hoped, the food and the predation by marine mammals stuck around for another day! Lets go for three days in a row! See you on the water tomorrow, whale watchers!
