Another beautiful morning off the coast of San Diego! The weather condition was perfect, with great visibility and placid waters! We headed to the west, then we decided to venture our way down south. As we searched and searched, we saw some really huge dorsal fins slicing through the water out in the distance. To our surprise, we found a big pod of Risso’s dolphins! They were scattered all around us, some even making their way towards the vessel. We also saw many of them surfing the swells! It was an awesome encounter and our guest were very excited to see these unique individuals! Trash-0 Balloons-10 Naturalist, Jaeny
