We rocked and rolled our way out to one of the most acrobatic pods of Short-Beaked Common Dolphins we’ve seen in weeks! About ~300-400 dolphins were spotted from the massive splashes they left behind on the horizon. When we finally made it to the pod, they were boat-friendly and up for some bow-riding! Countless calves were spotted beside their mothers and we were able to hear their whistling from the deck. It’s a one-and-done kind of day but we wish we could be out longer! We’ll have to wait until to tomorrow to see what else we can find. Until then, whale watchers!
