We couldn’t have asked for better conditions on the ocean today, with really no wind or waves to speak of. Although we weren’t able to locate any baleen whales today, we did find two different species of dolphin. On this mornings trip we had a pod of about 30 offshore bottlenose dolphins including a couple of cow/calf pairs and on our afternoon trip we found a large pod of about 200 long-beaked common dolphins feeding with hundreds of black-vented shearwater, gulls, and brown pelicans. We are in the midst of gray whale season so come on out! -Ryan
