Humpback whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins and incredible seas were on the agenda this morning! We set out of the Mission Bay jetties and found a few feeding frenzies. Among the feasters were birds, California sea lions and Pacific white-sided dolphins. We continued to the north and got beautiful views of the coastline. We hooked it to the west and found two southbound Humpback whales! We spent some time viewing their spouts, backs and tails! We got mugged a couple of times too! They dove under our boat and popped up on the other side. We enjoyed watching the pair synchronize their breaths and continue down to Mexico.
