Another beautiful day in the books! We encountered 3 species of toothed whales! We found ~25 Long-beaked Common dolphins, ~20 Offshore Bottlenose dolphins, and ~75 exuberant Short-beaked Common dolphins! Join us soon for an adventure at sea!

June 26, 2020 Today was a beautiful day aboard the Privateer! We sighted over 50 Long-beaked Common dolphins, a swordfish that breached over 10 times, as well as plethora of various seabirds. Come join us on our next adventure!

A humpback whale has been hanging around San Diego A humpback whale has been hanging around San Diego for the past few days, feeding along side hundreds of common dolphins. March and April are typically the best months for seeing humpbacks stopping to feed in our area as they make their way north from their winter breeding grounds in Mexico and Central America. 🌬🌈
