Wacky Whale Wednesday is here! We had a great day filled with plenty of wildlife on both trips. During the morning trip, we sighted a pair of Inshore Bottlenose dolphins outside of Ocean Beach. We continued up the coast and found numerous pods of Pacific white-sided dolphins, ~50 individuals altogether. We also got lucky and found a single southboud Gray whale! During the afternoon trip, we sighted the same Gray whale as soon as we left the Mission Bay jetties. We got some great looks as it cruised down the coast. We journeyed north and sighted a huge pod of ~100 Long-beaked Common dolphins! A few cow/calf pairs were also seen in the mix!
