Today was the day for dolphins as we saw four different species out on the water. Bottlenose, Pacific White-sided, and Long-beaked and Short-beaked dolphins were all encountered aboard the Privateer today!
Today we encountered a “friendly” Gray Whale which was our first of the season! This whale breached 3 times in the distance to get our attention and hung out long enough to get some great looks.
Another memorable trip aboard the Privateer! We headed out 14 miles from shore and got an AMAZING encounter with 2 Humpbacks whales ( Twitch was one of them!) and over a thousand Common dolphins! All co-mingling! It was extremely exciting to see such a huge eating...
