We enjoyed a beautiful day on the water with fun swell, splash, and sights! We cruised down to the southwest and got out to 9-miles from Mission Bay. We found a couple pods of Short-beaked Common dolphins with about 25 dolphins in each pod. We switched it up and went north and found a HUGE pod of ~600 Long-beaked Common dolphins! They were everywhere, popping up all around us. Some super-charged Commons raced for the Privateer’s bow and wake! We watched as they porpoised, breached, and tail-slapped all around us!
