For both our morning and afternoon trips today we went out 12 miles from shore. This morning we went southwest and found various pods of common dolphins, both long-beaked and short-beaked, as well as a shark that we were not able to positively ID the species of. This afternoon we went northwest and found no dolphins but we found a very boat friendly juvenile fin whale that circled our boat multiple times checking us out!
