Flat, calm seas, and active wildlife made for a beautiful day whale watching! We set out to deeper water on both trips and encountered multiple species of toothed whale and 1 baleen whale! Over the course of the day, we found ~400 Short-beaked Common dolphins, ~150 Long-beaked Common dolphins, ~20 Offshore Bottlenose dolphins, and 1 Minke whale! So many little calves seen in all pods of dolphins today. Lots of acrobatics were observed as the Common dolphins breached and porpoised beside us!
