We were still celebrating today! We had two fun trips with lots sightings throughout the day. During the morning trip we found 3 pods of Long-beaked Common dolphins totaling~200 individuals. We found ourselves about 10-miles offshore and found a very active pod of ~150 Short-beaked Common dolphins. They were breaching and porpoising all around us. During the afternoon trip, we went 12-miles to the SW and found ~50 Risso’s dolphins! They were hanging out in a very tight group popping up on each side of the boat. Not too far from them we found a pod of ~100 Long-beaked Common dolphins. The two dolphins species actually crossed paths and no real interaction was made.
