We endured some bumpy seas today! It was totally worth it as we encountered an awesome pod of ~20 Offshore Bottlenose dolphin during the morning trip! There were a few cow/calf pairs that cruised right beside our boat. During the afternoon trip, we set out and found two pods of Short-beaked Common dolphins that totaled to close to 500 individuals! We continued to the north and ended up lucking out! We found TWO BLUE WHALES headed south! They had short dive times of ~10-min and 5-6 breaths for each breathing cycle. Hope to see you on the next one! You never know what we will find out there!
