We had 3 action packed trips today! The morning trip sighted a MEGAPOD (1000) of Common dolphins! They were everywhere! During the afternoon trip, we encountered a cow/calf pair of Humpbacks hanging out in La Jolla! One whale even breached! Common dolphins were with them! During our Sunset trip, we encountered the same pair of Humpbacks just outside of Mission Bay, along the drop-off. Over 300 Long-beaked Common dolphins were cruising north. The sunset was glorious!
