A special treat today on the water as our afternoon trip got to spend time with 2 BLUE whales! They surfaced right between our boat and another. We got some great looks at these gentle giants and one even lifted its tail before going down on a dive. We spent quite a few breath cycles with them as they were only about 4-5 miles offshore. Special thanks to Gone Whale Watching San Diego for alerting us of such a special sighting this time of year!
These past few weeks have truly given us great looks at a variety of whale species, excited to see what the weekend brings us!
