The FIRST Gray whale of the season was sighted today!! On both the morning and afternoon trips we sighted the same Gray whale hanging out in La Jolla canyon! The gray was observed heading south! We During the afternoon and sunset trips, we encountered 5 humpback whales headed south! It was an amazing day watching them socialize with each other! During the sunset trip, they were spotted only a couple of miles from shore!
