Our morning trip found a group of 4 whales and some interesting behavior including some pectoral fin slaps and tail slapping on the surface. In the afternoon, we found a group of 3 and a pair of grays. Lastly, our sunset trip found a group of 3 whales who were displaying some more courtship behavior and sighted another 4 near coast and 3 more spouts on our way back to Mission Bay. Our total for the day was 19 gray whales on all of our trips!
