We hung out with Fin whales and Common dolphins today on both trips! They were out beyond the drop-off and were seen traveling together to the NW. We loved watching the Long-beaked Common dolphins race up to our boat to bow-ride and surf in our wake! On our way in, we had a quick sighting of a trio of Northbound Gray whales. During the afternoon trip, there were over ~500 individuals and 1 Fin whale. During the sunset trip, there were about ~400 Common dolphins observed feeding under diving birds. A single Fin whale surfaced for a breath close behind them. We got great looks as it surfaced multiple times nearby. The sunset was beautiful!
