What a day we had today! On our morning trip we encountered a north bound gray whale about a mile outside mission bay. We ventured further west and encountered a feeding aggregation of hundreds of long-beaked common dolphins, thousands of birds and a humpback whale all feeding just beyond the drop off! On our second trip we found the same dolphins and humpback but there were even more dolphins and birds this time. The conditions were challenging but the sightings were worth it!
