We were rockin’ and rollin’ on today’s afternoon tour! We weren’t expecting it but the wind was very strong coming out of the south. We set out to the south and got lucky and found a small pod of ~10 Common dolphins. They were zooming to the north pretty fast, we could barely keep up with them. They led us to more dolphins that steadily increased our total to ~200 individuals! A huge feeding frenzy with hundreds of diving California Brown Pelicans, terns, gulls were spotted nearby. Underneath the birds were more Long-beaked Common dolphins and California sea lions! We enjoyed watching as they came up to bow-ride and surf in our wake.

See you on the next one!
