We had a fun day cruising the deeper waters. That is where most of our wildlife has been lately. During our morning trip, we spotted about ~30 Long-beaked Common dolphins and 1 Blue whale! During the afternoon trip, we encountered about 100 Long-beaked Common dolphins that were very active! They were leaping all around us! During the sunset trip, we spotted ~5 Inshore bottlenose dolphins in the Mission Bay Channel, ~40 Offshore bottlnose dolphins about 10-miles from shore. On our way back in, a Minke whale popped up in front of us! It’s been more than 3 months since we’ve seen a Minke in San Diego waters!
We found multiple Brown Boobies all throughout the day!
