Thar she blows! We had a total of 4 different blue whales out on the water today! We caught up with a small pod of short beaked common dolphins about 5 miles from Mission Bay and 3 blues about 14 miles out. Our second trip got super lucky when we stumbled upon a friendly blue whale only 6 miles from Mission Bay! This blue whale was being tailed by a small pod of long beaked common dolphins. Absolutely incredible day out there!
