We had a blue that gave us quite the show today! Our morning trip had clear and sunny skies with smooth seas. We made it out about 6 miles and found a small pod of long beaked common dolphins. We chugged out to 13 miles and found 2 blue whales! We stuck around one that was a little closer and stuck with it for 2 cycles. The blue whale showed off it’s tail fluke not once but twice! It was a really awesome day.
During our sunset trip we had hundreds of short-beaked common dolphins leaping all around us, a minke whale that made a brief appearance popping up right in front of us and a feeding frenzy of long-beaked common dolphins and birds!
