You never know what you’ll see on one of our trips! Today, we sighted some cool rare sightings! We set out and only 3-miles from shore we caught up with a SHARK feeding upon a sea lion! We are 90% sure it was a 10-foot Mako shark circling around a sea lion carcass. The last time we saw a huge shark was in 2016! We continued on and hung out with a huge pod of ~200 Short-beaked Common dolphins! Lots of babies in the mix! Upon approach we observed breach after breach as these shorties were launching out of the water! Out in deeper water, we found a swordfish, another rare sighting! The electric blue coloration was amazing to see! On the way in we stopped to check out a big Mola mola!
Hope you’ll join us for the next one!
