Stinky Minke! Our afternoon trip was LOADED with life today! We made it out about 7 miles from shore when we ran into a pod of super social short beaks. We continued to the north and came across two more pods of shorties! We started making our way back into shore and were about 5 miles away when BOOM a Minke popped up right next to us. We were able to stay with the Minke for several cycles and it really gave us some good lucks. Popped up so close to our bow you could have touched it! Our sunset trip was very relaxing with calmer conditions than our afternoon. We saw inshore bottlenose dolphins as we were leaving the jettys. We made our way west and ran into a rambunctious group of long beaks, they were breaching and tail slapping all around us! We pushed a couple more miles west and stumbled on some shorties actively feeding. All in all, it was a pretty great day.
