We had two awesome trips today! We set out to 13-miles from shore and found two Blue whales on the morning trip! One Blue popped up for 6 breaths with 6-8 min dive times. While watching the last breath cycle, another Blue whale surfaced behind us! On our way in, we found an incredible pod of ~200 Long-beaked Common dolphins! They raced over to bow-ride and surf our wake! During our afternoon trip, we zoomed out to a similar zone, 13-miles from shore and sighted a tall, coloumnar spout! We found a Fin whale! It surfaced right in front of us! It had short dive times of only 4-min and didn’t travel very far from us on each surfacing. Another spout was sighted to the west, and caught up with a Blue whale! We got lucky and found a speedy pod of ~200 Long-beaked Common dolphins racing to the North.
The seas were flat, calm and gorgeous! We hope you’ll join us soon!
