All the bigger baleen whales were out to brunch on this sunny Sunday. Our morning trip had good visibility and glassy seas. We ran into 3 separate pods of common dolphins; 2 short beaked and one long beaked. They stuck around us for a little while before heading further south. We caught a brief glimpse of a minke whale but it did not stay long. Our afternoon trip got to see a short beaked stampede. There were hundreds of dolphins in this one stampeding pod! We got a good look at the breaching adults and all the little babies. We spotted a spout from a mystery whale and waited for about 20 minutes but did not see it again. On our way back in, we saw a bachelor pod of some short beaks.
