We had wonderful afternoon trip today! We were greeted with calm seas and great visibility. Beyond the drop-off we encountered a friendly Minke whale! It popped up all around us! It didn’t seem to be traveling anywhere specific. At one point, we thought it slipped out on us, but the next time it surfaced, it came up within 50-feet of the boat! On our way to the dock, in Mission Bay a trio of Inshore bottlenose dolphins surfaced in front of us. There was a cow/calf pair in the mix!
