We had one trip today and it was a good one! We were rocking and rolling towards the beginning with some pretty big rollers but we powered through! We ran into a pod of about 300 short beaked common dolphins that showed off their jumping skills. They stuck with us for a while as we continued to make our way out. We made it 13.5 miles from Mission Bay when we ran into a friendly minke. We lucked out and it stayed with us, feeding on a bait ball only a stones throw away from the boat. Pretty great trip!
