We had glassy conditions for the most part today on our one afternoon trip and lots of life! Our first encounter was with a feeding pod of long beaked common dolphins which we found about 4 miles out. Then about 8 miles out we found a hot spot zone! There was a large feeding frenzy of tuna and birds, a pod of Risso’s dolphins, a mako shark, a Mola mola, and an elusive minke whale. We expect great conditions through the weekend and there seems to be lots more life out there to see.
