We hung out with Minke whales, Long-beaked Common dolphins, California sea lions and hundreds of birds on both trips today! We cruised out to deeper waters to find the wildlife! Lots of birds were sighted in the distance and underneath were Long-beaked Common dolphins all around! We enjoyed watching their many acrobatic behaviors like porpoising, tail-slapping and breaching! A handful of babies were sighted. They were very mellow while hanging out, but as soon as we began to pick up speed, so did they! They raced to the bow and surfed in our wake! While observing all the activity, a couple of Minke whales popped up near by!
