Megapod mania! We had 2 amazing trips today. Conditions were perfect and the wildlife did not disappoint. Our morning trip got the chance to see 2 minke whales about 5 miles out, but we had our eyes on a much bigger prize. A few more miles west, we came across a mega pod and 5 humpback whales! We stuck with 3 of them for multiple breath cycles and one came right up and mugged us. Our afternoon trip got to hang out with 2 humpback whales and the mega pod split up, creating many smaller pods. There was a lot of feeding going on out there today and we hope there’s even more to come!
