On both tours today, we hung out with Humpback whales! During our afternoon trip, we zoomed out beyond the drop-off and found an almost identical feeding frenzy as yesterday! About 400 Long-beaked Common dolphins, hundreds of birds, and the same Humpback whale was observed cruising down to the south. During our sunset tour, we went west and about 8-miles from shore, we found a different Humpback whale! It was traveling solo toward the south. It was keeping us on our toes, as it had various dives times, from 5-min to 9-min. We got lucky to see its tail-flukes on every sounding dive! The sunset was on fire! Gorgeous hues of pink, purple, orange and red!
Hope to you again soon!
