It was a beautiful day on the water! We set out and enjoyed calm, glassy seas and great visability! We cruised out to the west and sighted some fast moving Offshore bottlenose dolphins! They were zooming to the north, but they hung out for a bit, surfing in our wake! We sighted some splashes out to the west and ended up catching up with a huge pod of ~500 Long-beaked Common dolphins! They too were headed north, but spread out everywhere. They were pretty curious with us and swam all around the boat! We loved to see the cow/calf pairs that porpoised beside us. There were more Long-beaked Common dolphins to the west and north of us.
