Our first two trips today were kind of quiet. Our morning trip got to hang out with a small handful of short beaked common dolphins that were on a mission south. Our afternoon trip got to catch up with a slighter bigger pod of shorties but they were also racing to the south. Our sunset trip had all the fun today. We left the jetties and headed slightly south and stumbled across a gray whale not even 3 miles out! We got several good looks before we waved goodbye. We then headed north and came across another gray whale! This one liked playing hide and seek with us as it raced to the south. We had a nice sunset and everyone got the chance to see an epic green flash!
