We had a really great day on the Privateer! Our morning trip got to hang out with about 30 Risso’s dolphins roughly 4 miles from shore. Our afternoon trip was one for the books! We had an inshore bottlenose dolphin at the mouth and the jetties, 200 long beaked common dolphins, about 50 pacific white sided dolphins, AND a gray whale! We got to stick with the common dolphins, and the pacific white sided dolphins for a while and we got some really great looks with the gray whale. Our sunset trip headed right for the gray whale and got to stick with it for about 5 cycles before we headed back in. It was an awesome day out there.
