It was a windy one out there today! Our morning trip got the chance to spend some time with 2 sneaky gray whales on their way down south. Our afternoon trip got to hang out with one sneaky gray whale for a couple brief cycles. We pushed to the north and found the same cow calf pair from yesterday! We had so much fun watching the baby play around in the waves. We also got to catch up with around 250 long beaked common dolphins. Our sunset trip got to see 5 gray whales hanging out with a feeding frenzy of birds. We could see a huge bait ball underneath the birds. We got to see one of the gray whales breaching in the distance as we were approaching. We also got to watch and awesome green flash as we were making our way back to Mission Bay. It was a fun one out there!
