It was a good one out there today! Conditions were SO nice! We only had the afternoon trip today, but it definitely did not disappoint! We caught up with 2 gray whales about 2 miles from the jetties. We stuck around for a few cycles and got to see a couple split dives. We pushed to the north and found 2 more gray whales that loved to show off their flukes. We saw some splashes towards the west and found about 200 long beaked common dolphins. There were so many babies! We also spotted 5 more gray whales just beyond the dolphins. It was really wavy coming back into the jetties, but captain Ryan did an awesome job getting us back in. We also got to see a couple inshore bottlenose welcome us back home. It was really a great one!
