It was a Super Swelly Saturday aboard the Privateer! We cruised out to the west this morning, and were greeted to some big swell! We pushed out and encountered a single southbound Gray whale! We observed it come up for three breath cycles. It began to snorkel, so we wished it well! On our way in, four Inshore bottlenose approached the bow! They surfed in the wake and hung out with us as we went through the Mission Bay jetties. The afternoon trip was just as nautical! The seas began to pick up so we turned around a little early. The sea conditions look better for Sunday and Monday, so we hope to see you there!
