We experienced some nautical seas out on the Pacific today!

On our morning tour, we set out to the west and caught up with a Blue whale! We even got to see its tail fluke! They don’t always lift their flukes and so sometimes we get lucky and today was our day! On our afternoon trip, we pushed out to the same zone and found ourselves at the 9-mile bank, just a mile from Mexico! We hung out with a Blue whale that was slowly traveling south. The spout was tall and puffy which made it easy to spot! A California sea lion jumped out of the water nearby. On our way in, we spotted a pod of ~30 Long-beaked Common dolphins feeding under diving birds. We got great looks as they came over for a brief surf-sesh in our wake!
