We accompanied a pair of Humpbacks down to the south along the drop-off! The pair was nice and relaxed traveling next to each other, even synchronizing their breaths! They had 7-12min dive times and lifted their flukes on almost every dive! They popped up on both sides of the boat and we got great looks! We have one more trip to go! ABSOLUTELY MAGIC! That’s all i have to say about this sunset trip. Some nights are just too perfect to be “real life” even though they are. Photographs are beautiful documentation when moments like these occur. This trip started out with glassy stunning conditions but severely lacking in wildlife. Right as that fiery orb lowered itself below the whisky cloud line – the pacific ERRUPTED with life! A whale breached in the distance and dolphins came from every direction imaginable! We spent every last drop of daylight cruising in a swell of vibrant sunset lighting and even more abundant wildlife. Dolphins entertained us every time this humpback whale went on brief dives. This was one of the most stunning sunsets / nights we’ve had this year.
We have the whales! Now we just need you all to book so we can get out there and spend time with these incredible animals! Without you all, we wouldn’t be out here AT all, so PLEASE join us before they’re gone for the season.
